Adventure Patch Community Pop-Up Playground

Adventure Patch celebrates play in the community — using ordinary, natural, and recycled materials to spark creativity, imagination, and joy. Our pop-up playgrounds offer great benefits for both children and the environment, supporting physical and mental wellbeing through open-ended, unstructured play.

Each pop-up playground is a temporary play space filled with all sorts of exciting materials — cardboard boxes, rope, natural objects, fabric, and more. Children are free to decide what to do with them: to build, imagine, experiment, or even take things apart. Every kind of play is encouraged, as long as everyone stays safe.

No two pop-up events are ever the same — each one changes based on its location, the materials available, and the children who come along. All ages are welcome, though the activities are best suited to children aged 3 to 12 years.

Our pop-up playgrounds gently introduce ideas of freedom and risk, inviting families to play together in ways that are creative, spontaneous, and fun.
We encourage adults to take a step back — letting children explore, create, and lead the adventure.
