How the CCS Can Help You

Child Care Subsidy (CCS)

The Child Care Subsidy (CCS) is a payment from the Australian Government that helps families with the cost of approved child care. The subsidy is paid directly to Adventure Patch, reducing the fees you pay.

The amount of CCS your family receives depends on:

  • Your family income
  • The hourly rate cap, based on the type of care and your child’s age
  • The hours of recognised activity you and your partner do

We recommend contacting Centrelink and starting your CCS application before submitting your enrolment with Adventure Patch.

How to Apply

To claim the Child Care Subsidy, you’ll need a myGov account linked to Centrelink.
If you don’t already have this, follow the setup instructions provided on the Services Australia website.

If you’d like further guidance, our team is always happy to help — please contact us for assistance.

Additional Child Care Subsidy (ACCS)

The Additional Child Care Subsidy (ACCS) is part of the Government’s Child Care Safety Net, designed to support vulnerable families and ensure every child can access quality early learning and care.

There are four types of ACCS support:

  • ACCS (Child Wellbeing) – for families who need help to support their child’s safety and wellbeing.
  • ACCS (Grandparent) – for grandparents who are the primary carers of their grandchildren.
  • ACCS (Temporary Financial Hardship) – for families experiencing short-term financial difficulty.
  • ACCS (Transition to Work) – for families moving from income support into work.

ACCS is a top-up payment in addition to CCS. In most cases (except for Transition to Work), ACCS can cover the full cost of child care fees.
